Like so many other organizations across the country, we at QBS are disheartened and outraged by the hate-filled events of the past week and, more generally, the apparent increase in the hate-based dialogue and activities that have taken place in our country over the last several months.
There is no place for this kind of behavior anywhere in the world, and certainly not in our country, our society, or our workplaces. Our disgust is not only toward those who share in this hatred or engage in these atrocious activities, but also those in positions of leadership and influence who fail to condemn them.
Although establishing a stance on public issues has historically not been our practice, we at QBS, now more than ever, feel the need to clearly and publicly denounce, in no uncertain terms, hatred of any kind. Further, we support and stand with all members of our society embracing any differences in race, religion, gender, sexual preference, or any other characteristics that have contributed to the great diversity which has enriched our country.
We hope that our customers, colleagues, families, and friends stand with us in eliminating hate regardless of the media or method through which it is communicated and regardless of those being targeted.
